Renowned filmmaker
Rogers Ofime, the producer and director of Oloibiri, The Johnsons, Hush, Tinsel and
Hotel Majestic, is set to premiere a hilarious campus comedy series, Zone 222.
Shot at the
Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Zone 222 is about five roommates of
different astonishing characters and their two ever present female friends who always
add colour to their struggles, follies and everyday campus lives.
Each episode
comes with loads of fun and message for the youth and adults. It is a youth-appealing
TV series that has risen the bar for subsequent ones.
The
television series, which is a production of Native Media, features Tomiwa Kukoyi, Papa Sam, Jayeola Muyiwa,
Anthony Igwe, Vannesa Ogboru, Eden Attai and Patrick Diabuah, will debut June 1 on African Magic
Urban, Channel 153 at 8.30pm; and would be televised Monday to Friday on same
station by 9.30pm.
